Hi friends, I want to fly from Dallas Texas to Wausau , WI on this monday (11/05/07). Which is a good deal?. Northwest is giving oneway for $290. Can I take a round trip ticket where I can leave the return date flexible?

I'm a big fan of Yahoo's FareChase http://farechase.yahoo.com . It searches a ton of travel websites and airline sites to find you a good deal. It also has features that allow you to narrow by departure time, airline, etc. It also includes deals on nearby days -- if they are cheaper! Good luck!

Open returns are very expensive. I think your idea of one-ways will be much cheaper. The key to cheap fares is flexibility. If you could go to MSP instead, I see $129 on Sun Country Airlines (the 6th); $140 on Frontier Airlines on the 5th. Best and cheapest to book direct from the airline.
