If you go to one of the travel websites and input your info, you'll get a list of flights. I'd guess it's about three hours, depending on which airport in DC you use.
2 :
Depends on the airlines you fly with. If you fly with no stop (US Airways or Continental Airlines), the flight will take about 3 hours. If you fly with AirTran Airways (which will stop at Atlanta, GA), the trip duration will be less than 5 hours.

I think it will be difficult to find a ticket for that low of a price. You can check the different travel websites such as http://www.expedia.com but travel around late December will be expensive.
2 :
www.travelocity.com I just got back from NY from OK and WITH TAX and the insurance you can get should you need to cancel was $291!!!! The other websites were averaging $350 and well over $400 bucks!
3 :
Late December? You'll be lucky to get $300 return.
4 :
For December 28, the cheapest option is for USD 600 via Mexico City on Mexicana Email to amitlohia@gmail.com for more information.

try www.cheap air fairs or just type in discount air fairs going straight to the carries themselves is even cheaper then going through some of the discount outfits

Your best bet when looking for cheap flights would be to check early and often. This ensures that you catch any good deals. I would try several online booking sites....travelocity, orbitz, and expedia. If you are flexible on dates, you can try priceline. It always helps to put in flexible departure/arrival dates. You can search from the two airports that serve Dallas (DFW and Love Field). Try all the airports near NYC as well...sometimes certain airports are cheaper than others. Also, look at flights with more connections, instead of non-stop. This makes for a less pleasant day of traveling, but, will save you money. All of this searching should allow you to find a good deal. I hope this helps! Good luck and happy travels! -Kango Traveler

I've always liked Priceline. I know it has some drawbacks in that you don't know the exact departure time but I have got some incredible prices using Priceline. Another one I use frequently is www.hotwire.com It's a good one. Good luck
4 :
www.bestfares.com They have a snooze you lose page and one that gives the cheapest available fare between cities.
5 :
Check out kayak.com Don't waste your time looking for anything out of Love Field...unless you want to use Southwest Airlines...it's a pain though, because Southwest only flies out of the NYC area at MacArthur, out on Long Island..
6 :
well concering flights dont bother with southwest airlines cause they dont fly even from DFW airport and only do texas, oklahoma, louisana and new mexico flying, if you looking for flights try www.orbitz.com www.expedia.com try some of the airline carriers themselves as they have been known to have specials to, also the day you go has a big factor to if you looking for hotels do the same, try hotels.com to and check some of the hotel themselves as they are also known to have specials.

Hmmn. Some weekends Frontier has a $396 fare, changing in Denver. Everyone else is about $420 with a change, the only nonstops I could find were on American for $455. If you want to go this coming weekend, US Airways has an unusually cheap $368 fare via Phoenix.
2 :
try www.orbitz.com they compare prices for you on the spot so that you can see what is a better deal and what is a standard price for such a flight. you can also book through that website without booking fees so it's really helpful.
3 :
go to http://www.bookingbuddy.com or http://www.kyak.com to check (they both check multiple sites for you so you get the best price)
4 :
weekends in general, or this coming weekend? if the latter, you are ood-scray, as you don't have advance purchase. If for a month or two in advance....try Kayak. I am guessing you may find a deal on US Scare. Southwest is probably not going to be your best bet--I don't know why they advertise themselves as "low fare", they really aren't!
