Is About 30 hrs and the is about $1200 to $1400 round trip

It depends on when you are flying and with what airline as well as what city in China you are flying into. If you fly around Christmas, it can easily cost $2,000. During non-peak travel times, you may be able to get a ticket for around $1,000. Since there are no non-stop flights to China from Dallas, you will have to connect somewhere such as Los Angeles or San Francisco. Therefore just as the person above me wrote, it can easily be a 30 hour trip.

Window seats are the BEST. If you can get a window seat the time will fly without you even noticing because it's just so awesome to see the clouds, and to be flying and just living the experience!! Take a book, book of search and finds or crossword puzzles (something to distract if you get bored but you can easily put down too), take an MP3 player or portable CD player but with all music you've put together that really celebrates life and being excited about being alive to go with the experience.
2 :
Bring a few bucks to watch the movie they'll show if the flight is more than 3 hours, or buy a Dallas MAPSCO and look it over so you can learn your way around the city.
3 :
there might not be a movie like Prarie girl said, as most flights in to DFW are on AA and they fly mostly super 80's which do not have tv's... and you also won't need money to watch it (unless you do not have head phones). You will need money to buy a snack if you want one, but most air carriers take credit and debit cards. You can read a book, bring you own video player and watch a movie, listen to an ipod, etc.
4 :
im confused about your question? But you will love Dallas, i have lived here my entire life and i couldnt even imagine growing up anywhere else, i love it here! have fun and make sure you go out and enjoy the city!
5 :
Well Welcome to the DFW area ! Possible chose a good book to read on your flight over.
6 :
Drink Pull out some literature about things to do in Dallas Get a window seat so you can see it when you come in Prepare for crap at the airport. The layout is ridiculous. Buy a D Magazine if available. Hope for a hot Texas woman to be seated by you. Have a great time but be careful.

Are you allowed to check in during stops in between flight

Are you allowed to check in during stops in between flight? ?
I need a one way flight from Dallas to Chicago this weekend but it cost about $300 with no stop. On the other hand, a flight from Austin to Chicago on the same day with a stop in Dallas cost about $170. Can I book the Austin flight but check in and depart from Dallas?

no you cannot do that. once you don't show up for the austin flight they will automatically cancel your connecting flight from dallas to chicago.
2 :
What Indy said - you become a no-show when you don't make your Austin boarding and the remainder of your ticket is cancelled - no refund and no changes
3 :
While the other are correct and you may say there is no return flight. But remember, that if you do it a couple of times, the airline can refuse to sell you a ticket in the future.

Cheap flight tickets from Dallas to Amsterdam

Cheap flight tickets from Dallas to Amsterdam?
Planning on traveling in Spring, March or April.

Airfares for the Netherlands and hotel rates there typically go up about the third week in March because Keukenhof Garden opens in mid March and the tulips peak toward the end of April. There are no budget airlines that operate between Dallas and Europe. You can try Kayak for flights http://www.kayak.com/flights?kw=kayak&brand=kayak&product=air&ci=656-292-0439&gclid=CLHcs_e5354CFYcVzAodHj-Dxg These days it's often cheaper to get indirect flights between destinations here in Europe and the US. I'm going back to the US for Christmas next week. Flying from Frankfurt to Washington, fares were cheaper if I flew from Frankfurt to Amsterdam and connected there to a flight to DC. Starting in Amsterdam, the fare was cheaper if I took a flight to Frankfurt and then connected to DC. It makes no sense, but that hasn't been too unusual. Don't expect rock bottom prices. If you're also looking for a place to stay there, I've used this site for several years and always been happy with the result: http://www.hotels.nl/

While I was travelling in Europe I always used a site called Skyscanner.net. It searches all the sites for the lowest price possible on flights. Not knowing exactly which date you wanted to leave I couldn't check prices. But I did find some flights for about $800US return in the middle of April.

I Searched on this site and got the Cheapest Flight,Check it out,it also had Discount Coupon Codes for Southwest,Jetblue,Expedia, Travelocity,Orbitz,Priceline, etc. http://freetravel4ever.blogspot.com

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
