Planning flight from Dallas, TX to Seattle WA in summer--what seat

Planning flight from Dallas, TX to Seattle WA in summer--what seat?
I have long legs and would like to sit near an exit area. What seats would give the most leg room? The seats in front of the exit area or behind the exit area? Or maybe you could give me a better location to sit?

It depends on the aircraft as well as the airline.

Ask for exit row seating when you are getting your boarding passes

Well, I'd strongly recommend you to sit in the emergency exit row, but if there are two exit rows, take the one behind. The seats on the first row won't recline. If there's only one, take it. I would recommend you to get some more information about the aircraft, and then go to http://www.seatguru.com and check which are the best seats for you. Have a nice trip.
