L.uggage got on a flight to Dallas. Flights were cancelled due to weather. How do I get my luggage back.?
Our luggage got on a plane at O'Hare to Dallas, Fort Worth. Dallas had a snow storm and we ended up on stand by. We were at the airport until the last flight. We cancelled our flight. How do we get our luggage back to O'Hare airport for us to pick up. The airline is American Airlines

have you talked with American airlines? they would know what is what people on yahoo answers don't work for American airlines either also I'm surprised they put the bags on flight that you didn't board are you sure it got on that flight (it may be sitting in the the baggage claim office at O'Hare! (because airlines are suppose not put luggage on the plane unless the passengers has board that aircraft0

Hold on there. So your saying your original flight was cancelled and you were put on standby. You were suppose to be on the last flight out of ORD and then you cancelled the flight completely? Sorry, something just doesn't add up here. If you were so set to go to Dallas, why didn't you get on a flight there and why you would cancel your entire plans?

So YOU cancelled your flight?? You'll have to contact AA but AJ is right - something doesn't sound right here.......
